The "Redevelopment of Pulau Langkawi Airport" project involved the construction of a runway and taxiway at Pulau Langkawi Airport in Kedah Darul Aman, Malaysia. Runways and taxiways are critical infrastructure components of an airport, facilitating the takeoff, landing, and movement of aircraft. The project was executed by Pembinaan Thin Chai Sdn.Bhd in partnership with Sato Kogyo Co., Ltd and took place from 1985 to 1987. The total contract value for this project was RM 1.3 million. Redeveloping and maintaining airport infrastructure is vital to ensure the safety and efficiency of air travel, especially in a popular tourist destination like Pulau Langkawi.
